PDSC’s first breath was a consultancy the the fragrance industry and its customers.

“Fragrance the world” by creating. In an ethical manner, unique, cost effective fragrances suited to all personal care, household and homecare consumer products. creations inspired by the tranquillity and ambience found at the heart of the forests of the trough of Bowland in the north of England’s stunning Ribble Valley.

We understand that our customers are seeking a distinctive signature that will ensure the desirability, differentiation and illustriousness of their products. We bring creativity together with market observation, local and international knowledge and of course, technical excellence to ensure their appeal to all customers, wherever they are.

With manufacturing capability in both the north and south of England PDSC are committed to operating strictly within the guidelines of ISO22716 an internationally recognised quality standard for the cometic, fragrance and personal care industry.

Drawing from literally, hundreds of years of combined experience in global fragrance creation (with particular emphasis on Europe, Middle East and Far East trends), global sourcing of raw materials, and manufacturing excellence in the fragrance business.

All our creations are specifically designed to the customer’s brief to ensure compatibility with the base material and tested in the end application to ensure high performance and to meet all regulatory requirements.

WHAT WE DO

The UK Fragrance Industry has long been crying out for a small independent fragrance creator and manufacturer with very low overheads, prepared to actually develop new fragrances aligned to their customer’s needs; (not simply offer whatever is ‘off-shelf’ or surplus redundant stocks left by more valued customers).

Innovation-driven Solutions

We will REPLICATE closely if that is what is required, which can depend on the end use and how discerning the end consumer is. This involves arriving at a very close , almost identical odour but often utilising some different raw materials which can also prove more cost-effective

Personalized Approach

We do not impose minimum order quantities and minimum order values; and is prepared to hold stock (underwritten).
We prefer to CREATE! It’s much easier!
We can MATCH But…It’s very time consuming, utilising headspace GCMS and other equipment and often identifies ingredients that didn’t need to be incorporated in the first place, offer little or no significant impact or differentiation, and often identifies ingredients that ethically and compliantly should not have been used in the first place!
